Castling is permitted when a player’s king piece and a rook have not yet moved during the game. Castling can be performed with either rook, as long as they haven’t moved - in other words, they are still in their starting corners on the edge closest to the controlling player. Each type of piece moves in its own unique way on the board. Use these different movements to craft your strategy to win.

Other studies have also claimed playing chess can help improve the IQ and cognition of children. Can chess be won in 2 moves?

Each chessboard has eight ranks, which are numbered from the bottom of the board (where the white pieces start) on up.Place the kings next to the queens, which is only fitting. These pieces typically have a tiny cross at their top. Maybe all this information can overwhelm you a little bit.
