Starting with Radeon™ Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1, Radeon Chill has been enhanced with auto-tuning making the default frame rate caps dependent on the capabilities of the attached (primary) display. Storage & Home Clearance Furniture Clearance Garden & Outdoor Clearance Lighting Clearance Electrical Clearance Tools Clearance Paint & Decorating Clearance Flooring & Tiling Clearance Building & Hardware Clearance Bathrooms & Plumbing Clearance Kitchens Clearance The Chill Min value will be one-half of the peak refresh rate. For example: 30 FPS on a 60Hz display, and 72 FPS on a 144Hz display.
Radeon Chill can also be separately customized per game/application via application profiles within Radeon™ Settings or during gameplay using Radeon™ Overlay.

As your movement decreases, Radeon Chill reduces your gameplay frame rate, thus saving power and helping lowers GPU temperature. Radeon™ Chill is an optional feature which can be toggled on and off during gameplay by pressing an assigned hotkey. The default hotkey is F11 and can be changed under the Gaming/Global Settings/Global Graphics menu.
