A: Everdries are perfect for light to medium incontinence, holding up to 4 teaspoons of liquid and they never let any of it through After a full month of wearing Everdries leakproof underwear, I have to tell you they have been a complete game-changer for me.
After washing them the night before and leaving them to hang dry overnight (not necessarily required but I always wash new clothes before I wear them) I woke up excited (and a little nervous!) to try the panties out. The first group of participants included 32 people who own period underwear and were currently using at least one of the brands we studied. These participants scored their underwear on a variety of factors including comfort, dryness and absorbency, and breathability. They also shared their experiences with respect to the convenience of the underwear, their typical usage, and more. The various cuts—bikini, high-waist, French cut, thong, and hiphugger—are available in women’s sizes XS to 3X and a number of colors and patterns.
Before this I really had no idea there was such a great form of protection available for women like me. In our study, the group of current users of period underwear had higher than average incomes and contained a higher proportion of women than the group of prospective users, which included more nonbinary people.
Starting off with regular boyshorts, I'd sew in a waterproof layer along with a very soft & absorbent inside layer. It wasn't supposed to be a permanent fix, but to my surprise she loved them! Each of the brands we evaluated—Dear Kate, Knix, Modibodi, Thinx, and TomboyX—received mostly good marks from our participants. They appreciated the convenience, comfort, and environmental friendliness of period underwear, but balked at the costs and cleaning requirements, and weren’t always confident the underwear could completely replace pads and tampons.
