Now for headphones. The old cd6006 had a 27mw headphone circuit and it no trouble driving my the 32 ohm loading of my Oppo PM1 planars. The cd6006 had a three gain settings but unsure of the new cd6007. If it follows the sa8005 then it will have a 30mW circuit with no gain settings. It's more than listenable but may struggle with high loading headphones such as some of the Sennheiser models.
