It is the plastic cover plate at the bottom of the bar on which the shower is mounted - concealing the screws fixing it to the wall. (A twin of the one at the top of the bar). Installation was simple although the 90degree fitting was tight and leaked until I realised you had to push very hard to get it on fully.This shower was a replacement for the original shower witch was also a Triton pumped shower what l fitted fifteen year’s ago. The normal problem with the shower when no water flowing is the soleniod has failed in the shut position. If you were to carry out a continuity test over the spades on the coil this will confirm the problem
