By comparison the Zhong Yi 50mm 0.95 III designed for E-mount shows similarly bad corners but the midframe looks quite a bit better from f/2.0 onwards. infinity (24mp Leica M10) I think the TTArtisan 50mm 0.95 is the first lens with 14 aperture blades that I have reviewed. At f/1.1 the diaphragm opening stays mostly round whereas it gets more edgy as you stop down further. was established in 2019, located in Shenzhen, with a registered capital of 3 million yuan. ZY Optics has recently released a Canon EF-mount version of their 50mm f/0.95 lens. It seems to have a different optical formula compared to the E-mount version and seems to be significantly heavier (1.5 kgs vs 720 gms) with a larger filter thread (82mm vs 67mm). Everyone wants a fast 35/33mm that’s WR, fast and quite. It works for everything, just like an X-T4. But some really want a manual focused first-party lens that have something unique, just like X-Pro 3. It’s not for everyone, as the X-T-series.Overall the image quality is similar to its sibling, the TTArtisan 50mm f/0.95 but I think the 50mm is slightly better and I found the 7Artisans f/0.95 to have better performance when shot wide open with a more pleasing bokeh and a character I liked. I used to cooperate on 7Artisans lens review, but lost communications with them more than year ago. When TTArtisans appeared on the market, they impressed me mechanically and optically by showing higher machining quality and rendering performance. The 5050 Travel photography Blog did an interesting review of the TTArtisan 50mm f/0.95 lens about a year ago - and posted a number of photos taken with the lens which I found somewhere between impressive and compelling.

on the APSC-sized Fujifilm X-mount sensor, a 35mm lens gives an equivalent view of 50mm at a 1.5x crop factor, hence the mention of the Noctilux in the title. Nice pictures which are from the talent of the photographer. If I want good earphones, I will go for Bose or Shure, Beats is not my reference, it is mass market. The lens I bought was a Yashica ML 50mm F1.4, and that just opened up a whole new world for me. It helped me to get some bokeh on my images, and the lens wasn’t made out of plastic. Don’t get me wrong, the XC lenses have some great glass if you’re on a budget. But they’re slow compared to the f1.4 prime, obviously.

Whereas the Summicron is near perfect, optically corrected to be flat and neutral, the TTArtisan 50mm F/0.95 has a bold signature. Here are 2 sample images to show difference between f0.95 to f1.4, at 1.5m subject distance (ie portrait distance) The all-metal construction makes for a solid feel and all-in-all everything to this point should make you smile as it feels quite premium.
